Efficient, lightweight, and sustainable advanced materials. What for?

The development and adoption of innovative, efficient, lightweight, and sustainable advanced materials /processes are crucial for the EU industry to achieve significant reductions in carbon footprint and advance towards a circular economy, thereby contributing to substantial CO2 emissions reductions and a net-zero future.

What does the workshop aim for?

  • inform industry stakeholders on the latest research actions and results in the field;
  • facilitate a dialogue between the research community and industry to discern industry needs and future strategies;
  • align research & innovation priorities with forthcoming investments in the EU.
